Hair – Yingyinnn ❧

Recently I got invited to e3 Salon Masjid Jamek to review their services. The saloon is located at a strategic location which is in the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur. I would recommend you to get to the saloon by public transport as it’s a 3-5 minutes walk from the station. Which makes it really convenient and easy to get to. Take from your nearest LRT station and your destination would be Masjid Jamek LRT station.

I did a makeover right before my Penang vacation. There are a few colours I had in mind before heading to the saloon to get my hair do. Rose gold mix with purple was one of my choice, but they suggested for me to get a brighter colour as my skin tone is quite tan. So what colour did I pick? 🤔 Continue reading to find out…

The interior of the saloon is really simple and clean. Not to mention, all of their employees are really friendly. My seat was at the left side of the saloon which I can have a view of the bustling view of KL.

So the usual process start by having my hair bleach. To me it always looks like magic, how one minute your hair is one colour, and the next it become blonde. Everyone who bleach before would once turn into a Barbie 👱🏼‍♀️ look.

This picture is taken after they bleach my whole hair, excluding the roots. The process took about 30 minutes? If I’m not mistaken…

After the wait, they started bleaching my hair around my roots area.

Tadaaaaa… what if I say the colour of my choice is blonde 💁🏻‍♀️ Nahh, was just teasing all my readers.

So after the consultation with my hairstylist, I go with Orange colour 🍊. But I did not want it to be too bright, so they mix a bit of pinkish/red into the colour. I was really nervous at first, not sure if the colour would suit me or not. I did hesitate for 5-10 minutes, but you know, we only live once. We can try bold colours once in a while.

I was really happy with how my hair colour turns out. As you can see from the picture above, those were all the e3 Hair Saloon staff. They were quite easygoing as well.

My opinion:

The colour wise, it’s really stunning. Does it last? For me it the bright orange faded quite fast because maybe I don’t have the right shampoo and conditioner to keep the colour. Even though the colour faded, it still has a nice tone to it, where it’s light blonde orangy.

I’ve heard many people saying their hair feel damage or really dry after bleaching. I did bleach before as well and yes it’s really dry. But I’m not sure how e3 Hair Saloon changes my perspective. After more than a month, my hair still feel really soft and many of my friends and family were really envious by it. So I’m sure the products they use on my hair were really good and it won’t do much harm to the hair.

Would I visit the saloon again? YES OF COURSE!
