I was one of the lucky few who got invited to their exclusive launching where we were some of the first to try out these products 🥰 Glad to be apart of Althea Angels to be able to attend the launch. 1. A’BLOOM, Moisturizing Watermelon Mask ( RM 2 )

Moisturizing Watermelon Mask, from the name itself Watermelon 🍉, you know it can keep your face hydrated. This mask contains watermelon extract so that your skin would feel moist throughout the day.

E3 Hair Saloon | Beauty

Recently I got invited to e3 Salon Masjid Jamek to review their services. The saloon is located at a strategic location which is in the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur. I would recommend you to get to the saloon by public transport as it’s a 3-5 minutes walk from the station. Which makes it really convenient and easy to get to. Take from your nearest LRT station and your destination would be Masjid Jamek LRT station.

I did a makeover right before my Penang vacation. There are a few colours I had in mind before heading to the saloon to get my hair do. Rose gold mix with purple was one of my choice, but they suggested for me to get a brighter colour as my skin tone is quite tan. So what colour did I pick? 🤔 Continue reading to find out…

The interior of the saloon is really simple and clean. Not to mention, all of their employees are really friendly. My seat was at the left side of the saloon which I can have a view of the bustling view of KL.

So the usual process start by having my hair bleach. To me it always looks like magic, how one minute your hair is one colour, and the next it become blonde. Everyone who bleach before would once turn into a Barbie 👱🏼‍♀️ look.

This picture is taken after they bleach my whole hair, excluding the roots. The process took about 30 minutes? If I’m not mistaken…

After the wait, they started bleaching my hair around my roots area.

Tadaaaaa… what if I say the colour of my choice is blonde 💁🏻‍♀️ Nahh, was just teasing all my readers.

So after the consultation with my hairstylist, I go with Orange colour 🍊. But I did not want it to be too bright, so they mix a bit of pinkish/red into the colour. I was really nervous at first, not sure if the colour would suit me or not. I did hesitate for 5-10 minutes, but you know, we only live once. We can try bold colours once in a while.

I was really happy with how my hair colour turns out. As you can see from the picture above, those were all the e3 Hair Saloon staff. They were quite easygoing as well.

My opinion:

The colour wise, it’s really stunning. Does it last? For me it the bright orange faded quite fast because maybe I don’t have the right shampoo and conditioner to keep the colour. Even though the colour faded, it still has a nice tone to it, where it’s light blonde orangy.

I’ve heard many people saying their hair feel damage or really dry after bleaching. I did bleach before as well and yes it’s really dry. But I’m not sure how e3 Hair Saloon changes my perspective. After more than a month, my hair still feel really soft and many of my friends and family were really envious by it. So I’m sure the products they use on my hair were really good and it won’t do much harm to the hair.

Would I visit the saloon again? YES OF COURSE!

Swanicoco Show The Velvet Lipstick Black Edition (Limited Edition), RM 88.85

So now, let me introduce to you Swanicoco Limited Edition, Juliet Red. 50Gram is the first to bring this product into Malaysia. Do take note that there are limited quantities, what makes it more special is that once it’s sold out on 50Gram, then it’s gone for good. So what makes it so special from the other lipsticks? 💄

Firstly would be the packaging, it’s matte finish packaging it’s really nice to carry around as I myself really like my things matte. Whereas the design point, I would say I give it a plus point for the twist lock cap. It gives me an assurance of bringing it overseas and never have to be afraid that the cap may come off. It happened twice with my other lipstick, which was really unfortunate as I have to discard them since it’s completely ruin.

Now, let’s talk a little about the texture of the product shall we? At first sight, I wasn’t expecting much from the usual lipstick. I swallowed back my words after I glide it on my hand for swatches. It’s texture is really creamy and does not feel dry. One of the reason is because the highlight of this lipstick is that it uses carnauba wax and natural oil which gives out moisture, long lasting and softening effects. The colour is really vibrant as well, really suitable for night events or performance. There’s a hint of orange in the firer red.

As a matter of fact, if you are not really into vibrant colour. You can actually glide it on your hand first, then slowly dab them on your lips. 👄 It gives a softer look and could instantly brighten up your face.

• Just an everyday look with minimal makeup, the lipstick would goes well with any outfit. Red never goes wrong ❤️ (trying to fling my hair, but kinda fail 🙈)

All the ingredients contained in the lipstick are natural ingredients. As they maintain high standard quality products to serve their customers. Which of course includes ingredients such as Korean medical herbs 🌿, fruits 🍎, vegetables 🌽 and grains. Throughout the process, purified water was not used as they prefer fermented extract in 80% of their cosmetics.

Swanicoco only uses Korean natural herbs or ingredients that are certified from both United States and Australia. This explains why ingredients such as chemicals preservation, dyes and artificial fragrances are absent in any of their products.

• The amount of product that you’ll be getting is as above. Considering the product is long lasting, the lipstick alone could last you for quite an amount of time

My Opinion

Overall this product is something I would buy. There are actually two more shades that 50Gram had not bring in, but I’m sure it’ll be at Malaysia’s doorstep in no time. Would I repurchase it? Yes I would. The twist lock cap and the texture is one of my favourite part about the lipstick. 💄 Somehow the finishing looks like matte but then when I’m wearing it on my lips, it still feels hydrated throughout the day. Another plus point is, I do not have to re-apply the lipstick as it’s quite long lasting. But it’s definitely not smudge proof, it does stain my cup or straw, but it’s very minimal compared to other lipsticks.

Gold Mask have the nutrition function because it contains 99% real gold which also give you a luxurious experience. (RM19.90 each) Next, their Water Mask is a skinny fit mask which contains hydrolyzed collagen that delivers deep moisture to the skin. (RM12.90 each) Lastly would be Bright Mask, the word bright already indicates it has brightening effect onto the skin after using. (RM12.90 each)

Clay Mask

Time for today’s highlight ✨ ID.AZ recently added four new products into their mask collection. This time instead of sheet mask, we’re looking at a more environmentally friendly product which is clay mask. It comes in four different functionality to suit different skin type, not to mention indifferent colours as well. 💛💕💚🖤

DERMASTIC BRIGHTENING CLAY MASK, RM 59 (150g)

The yellow 💛 one belongs to BRIGHTENING. It helps to brighten up your skin and makes it feel more alive. (vitalizing & tone up) Usually, I apply it mostly on my forehead as I have uneven skin tone. Maybe it’s due to having a high forehead and I’m always outdoor which means exposing my forehead to the sun. ☀️ Out of all the four products, this is my least favourite. I don’t know how to describe the smell but you will get what I mean after trying it out. If you don’t mind the smell and only look at its function, then this will work well for you.

Key Ingredient > Amazonian White Clay + Calamine + Vitamin C (Ascorbyl Glucoside)

DERMASTIC HYDRATING CLAY MASK, RM 59 (150g)

The pink 💕 helps in HYDRATING. It can keep your skin hydrated all day and energized. (moisturizing & soothing) This is one of my favourite among all as I have a really dry skin. I could apply it all over my face and let the magic works. Another plus point is because it has the best scent among the four. The vibrant pink gives it a nice colour for picture purposes too, especially when your having a sleepover party. One tube can share among all your friends and family.

Key Ingredient > Moroccan Lava Clay + Calamine + Calamine + Pomegranate

DERMASTIC OIL CONTROL CLAY MASK, RM 59 (150g)

The picture does not looks like it but it’s actually green 💚 in colour, OIL CONTROL. This helps to balance the skin oil which will give you a fresher looking complexion. I tried this for a few time now and it does work for me. I only apply it on my nose area, it works well for me throughout the whole day as it isn’t as oily as it was previously. As for the smell, it’s neutral.

Key Ingredient > Canadian Glacier Clay + Calamine + Avocado

DERMASTIC PORE CLEAN CLAY MASK, RM 59 (150g)

Here comes the grey 🖤 tube, it’s PORE CLEAN. I am sure most of us have pore issue, all the black heads and so. The benefits is it can provide soothing effects for both normal and sensitive skin while cleansing. Not only that, it also helps to exfoliate skin and tighten your pores. The scent is neutral so for people who does not like strong scent, it will work great for you. Use it before your makeup routine, it helps to tighten up the pore which means after applying foundation your skin would look flawless. Do take note to use it regularly or the result may vary.

Key Ingredient > Hawaiian Sea Silt Fermented Clay + AHA/BHA + Charcoal

Usage

Spread liberal amount on skin and let dry for 5 minutes. Rinse off thoroughly with warm water and remove all residue. Use once or twice per week.

Advantages

• One tube can have a longer period of usage compare to a sheet mask.
• Apply only on necessary/desired area.
• Convenient to bring around and share with friends and family. (Instead of bringing >1 packets of mask sheet)
• It tightens up once it dries up, gives your skin a slight firmness.

Disadvantages

It’s not as hydrating as sheet mask.

Takes time to apply and remove, I find the washing off part takes quite a bit of my time as compare to just peeling off a sheet mask.

The Butterfly Project Turns 5 | Beauty

In a magical world where everything that does not makes sense exists, there was a girl – that’s me who lives a usual life like everyone else in her town, known as The Butterfly Valley. During one peaceful evening, when creatures with unimaginable beauty filled the sky with glowing colours emerges from the wake of their sleep. There comes a floating mail from the distant horizon, closing in every second until it alters its direction to what seems a crystal-made glass door which then seeps through the small gap underneath it. The letter made its way through the house and comes to an end of its journey by landing into a bowl of cereal. My bowl of cereal…*cries*

• Yeah, I was hoping that the letter was delivered by an owl in my world like in the Harry Potter series.
  

She was stunned to find out about the invitation to a Magical Unicorn Party which was held once every year and only out of 0.00001% in the population had a chance of getting it. Guess who was the one who wrote to her, it was non other than the founder of this magical kingdom (The Butterfly Project), Tammy. She was really honoured to be able to get such an exclusive invitation. Inside the letter includes a few instructions on how and what should one do to prepare for the party. Firstly, is to transform oneself into a unicorn to be eligible in acquiring the teleportation skill to the magical party. With that in mind, she started seeking for unique magical dresses and clothes that could transform her, but after a week of searching, nothing seems to satisfy her yet. Instead, she made up her mind to make everything from scratch with her own materials.

How did she turned into a unicorn?

UNICORN SKIRT

Before making her unicorn skirt, she has to find herself all the materials in order to begin crafting. What she needed is as listed below:

• Tulle Fabric ( 4 different pastel colour )
• Pick either one will do( crochet band, ribbon or elastic )
• Sequins
• UHU Glue

Its really simple and does not require any sewing. So for starter or beginner or anyone who say you cannot not sew, this is something you can do. The only requirement to make this is your patience and time. As it can be really time consuming, I suggest you can watch a drama while doing it.

UNICORN HEADBAND

Time to play with glue gun, but beware as to not to burn your fingers or even glue your floor. Materials are:

• Hot Glue Gun
• Gold Cloth ( I could not find it so I use a paper like cloth )
• Cotton ( I use styrofoam instead )
• Hairband
• Fake Flowers

The whole process is practically gluing. Nothing much, oh and not to forget shaping the Styrofoam into a horn like shape. That might take some time, or you can just use cotton but, you have to sew the bottom and include a button at the bottom to support the horn.

UNICORN MAKEUP

Makeup is always my favourite part as I am so into makeup. Basically the product I use to create the unicorn pastel look are from Colourpop palatte. I do not own purple colour so I do a mixture of some pastel and glitter colour to come up with the look as you can see below. The rhine stone that you can see, you can easily get it from Mr.DIY shop.

Magical Unicorn Party

It is finally D-day! The purpose of this magical party is to celebrate the Magical Kingdom’s 5th year anniversary. After all her preparations, she walks confidently into the kingdom and met many other unicorns that was present that day. Each unicorn have to own a license in order to join the party. Unicorn bags were given to each of the unicorn and their license were taken on the spot along with the bag that were given to them.

After getting the license taken, the unicorns were each asked to pick a magical sit at the table provided. Food were seen placed on one side of the magical kingdom. I guess she only have her eyes on the food as her stomach was growling for food. While she was busy checking out on the food, a magical unicorn with rainbow hair, Leonard pops out from the sky and started the party along with the magical purple unicorn, Tammy.

As the party started, instead of how usual party flows, in magical kingdom there are four different activities that each unicorn can visit. They were each filled with their own uniqueness and specialty. Unicorns are allowed to wonder around the castle to mingle with their new unicorn mates at the same time to enjoy the activities that were provided. Guess which booth did she visited first? Instead of going to any of the booth, she went straight to the food section to make her growling stomach happy.

You know it is a party when you see foods lying around waiting for you to dive in. They are mostly finger food just to fill our tummy, because we are here to mingle and for all the exciting activities, not the food specifically. =3

She than joins her fellow unicorn mates and head to their first booth by Everday Flowers.

Each of them get to handpick their favourite flowers and make them into a mini bouquet.

Each of us get to pick 2 of our favourite flowers. For me I picked another coloured rose instead of red. Something special because I rarely see other coloured roses besides red.

I find it really interesting as this would be a perfect gift for your friends or girlfriend. She used quite some time to pick and choose to create her own very first customized bouquet because there is just to many flowers to choose from.

Next stop would be PICTURE session. There is no party that she or the other unicorns would leave without taking any pictures. Its just impossible. All thanks to GNG Studiobooth, the unicorns get to make their dreams come true and keep the photos with them.

These pictures are really convenient just by sliding them into your purse. Each picture comes with 2 pieces, just bend it and you can share them with your friends. I like to collect pictures and hang them in my room.

It is really convenient and fast way to deliver the photo for any event or party so that your guest would always remember about that special day. Next, she visited the third station when she heard adoption is available. An adoption activity by 50Gram. Unicorns are allowed to each adopt a baby unicorn and take great care of it. They have to first sign an adoption certificates before having the rights to adopt one as its own. Each unicorn have to even think of a name for their new baby.

• Basically I was too excited and I messed up the name for my unicorn name. Oh well, let’s just say Chipmunk adopted me 😛

The baby unicorn is actually a mug and its really suitable to put anything you like.

• Isn’t it just adorable? It’s so chubby, imagine if it’s squishy, I would have just pinch it 🤤 – RM 39,90

For example you can place your jewelry, flowers or even like what she did to her brushes. (picture below) It is really useful and could really makes one life happier by just looking at it.

So what is 50Gram? It is actually a florist shop, but what makes them so special from the others is they do not only provide flower services but they also provide cakes, plush toys, juice and even this cute unicorn mug. It great to have a place where you can get everything all at a single place.

As you can see the party is filled with lots of unique and cool balloons. I personally love the marble balloon the most. You can get them at non other than Brrrloon. Their balloon can be see everywhere throughout the party and its makes the party look more fun and vibrant.

They have a station prepared as well for us to DIY our own balloon. I find it really interesting as it reminded us about our days as a kid. I really love colouring those days, I even went for colouring contest when I was younger. The way the balloon inflates was really cool, never know this method existed. I find the activity would be suitable for all ages, as its something new to many people and I am positive that everyone would love it.

• I personally did not try it myself as I was occupied by the other activities and the event was about to end. So instead I brought it home to work on it.

4. NYX, Vivid Bright Liquid Eyeliner – RM 30

I am sure if you’re a beauty enthusiast you would have heard of NYX cosmetics. The product that each of us got is really pretty and suits the unicorn theme.

I got this product in the shade of Vivid Blossom. It is a light purple colour, something I can use during a daily basis as well because the colour is pastel and would not stand out too much.

Another NYX product into my collection. I do not own any lip liner, not a single one. So glad to be able to finally own one.

The colour is in Cherished shade. It looks really pretty especially after applying on the lip. Since the colour isn’t that vibrant, I can wear them to my classes everyday to brightens up my face.

6. Koji, Dolly Wink False Eyelashes – RM 58.90

I do own a few pair of lashes, but none of them are from Koji. I did heard from one of my unicorn friend that the lashes are really pretty and lasting. I could not wait to try it on my trip to Thailand this coming week.

The lashes I got have the natural feel, not too dramatic. Just what I’ve been looking for as I usually go for a more natural look.

Opps, forgot to mention. You do know about Althea, right? If yes, yeah “kaki lang”, but if no. No worries, here’s a brief explanation. Althea is a website where you can find all the popular Korean products all in one place. They contain more than 150 Korean beauty brand just for you to browse through and shop them all just by a few clicks from your laptop/desktop. Althea was founded in 2015 by Frank Kang. He had the thinking of providing buyers from all around the world with one of the lowest price they could get from Althea website just as how Korean residents shop in their own country. Althea is like a representative of Korea to provide authentic K-beauty product just for YOU!

Products

1. ALTHEA, Contour Cleanser – RM 23

Who does not want to obtain flawless skin? Then you should start by trying out Contour Cleanser, clear your pores from all the dirt and leaving you with a squeaky clean face. With that you need not to worry about applying thick base makeup or conceal your face with concealer. You can achieve all that just by using Althea Bare Essentials. Their contour cleanser comes with nourishing ingredients such as ice plant and lemon verbena leaf.

• Just a small amount would do (in the picture above I squeeze out a bit more than it is needed)

After applying it on your face you will feel that there is tiny tiny things on your face. Not to worry as they are actually micro bubbleshots. It will eventually pops when it get in contact with water. Micro capsules is there to gently but effectively exfoliate and improve the impurities from you skin. Whats more? It also claims to detoxify your skin to transform your face into a more defined and slim face shape.

Usage

Dampen the skin, then squeeze out a small amount (I would suggest just a tiny dot would do) and lather onto the face, massaging in circular motions. Rinse off with water after.

Opinion

When I was using it for the first time, I squeeze a large amount onto my palm and later realize that its really creamy and thick. Only during the second time I know that just a tiny squeeze from the tube is already able to wash of the dirt from our face. Compare to other cleanser that I have previously used, I think this cleanser can last me two or three time longer than my usual time period as the quality is really thick. The cooling effect that I receive after applying them off really caught me off guard. It surprise me but I like how it felt after a tiring day. As for packaging wise, its really simple and free from designs. Tbh,I sometime prefer it that way, as I find some products with too many design a bit distracting. Lastly I would say I did not really like the smell of it. Maybe there wasn’t any scent that was added so the smell are from all of their natural ingredients.

2. ALTHEA, Primer Water – RM 43

Here comes the second steps where you get to hydrate your skin after cleansing. Unlike other toner, this primer water helps to hydrates and smooth your skin, leaving it to a flawless finishing. Say goodbye to uneven skin. The magic comes right after the primer touches your skin and penetrates deep into the layer of your skin. Your skin will instantly plump up and your ready for the last steps. 2 main ingredients that were just are as stated below.

Snow lotus – Help to brightens and smooth out your skin.

It can only be found in remotes areas in Asia, that what makes it one of the rarest herbs in the world. Brightening energy, fixing dark spot and anti aging effect are some of the benefits that is still trusted for women in Chinese Imperial Court for centuries, even up until today.

Patented “dewdrop” formulation – Instantly moisturize and revitalizes you skin.

Do you know clear dewdrops helps to soften the skin and improve suppleness by gently filling up the gaps between both skin and pores. (can be use for the 2nd time for a more smoother and velvety soft skin texture.)

Usage

Pour out a small amount of primer water onto your palm/a cotton and apply evenly onto the face. By gently patting it, a better absorption can be seen.

Opinion

I would first talk about the packaging, it really nice and simple. My worry is that its a bit too bulky to be brought along to traveling. If they could come out with another smaller version for traveling kit, that will be great and convenient. On the other hand, if you seldom travel, I think this would just be perfect as it is now. The texture is really unique compare to other toner that I have ever tried. Unlike the usual watery toner, this Althea primer water is much more thick, but it does not feel heavy nor slimy after applying. Instead my face felt really moisturize. After it had dried, my skin felt really smooth and not a single hint of stickiness. As for the smell, I’ll give it a 💯 as it smells really great. A hint of flower smell, something fresh and light. Not too strong to give your a headache. By far the best scent compare between all tree products. 💕

3. ALTHEA, Fixer Cream – RM 50

Last step of your routine! 🙈 Never stop your skin care routine before putting on some moisturizer. Out of all 3 products, I love this packaging the most as I have always been in love with matte materials. The texture is really thick but can be penetrates easily into your skin. Besides that, your skin will stay hydrated for the next 24 hours. Keeps your skin moisturize without feeling any stickiness after it was fully absorbed. Something you would not want to miss out to be part of your skin care collection. Few of the key ingredients will be listed below along with their functions.

Trehalose – Powerful humectant that retains moisture on the skin

Trehalose is a natural sugar that can only found in certain plant. Its function is to helps survive either freezing or dehydrating condition. You can just observe how a cactus can turn green again even after it being cracked and dried out. (because there is TREHALOSE!) It’s powerful enough to retain moisture on you skin to keep it moisturize all day.

Wild Green Tea – Hydrating, skin soothing and pack with antioxidants

This ingredient can helps user to fight against aging because it contains large amount of antioxidants. Antioxidants that can be found in green tea help in healing cells and he prevent free radical damage. In addition, age spots, wrinkles and sun damage can be reduce. Besides that, tannins can also be found in green tea which helps to act as an astringent to shrink pores.

Baobab Tree Extract – Non-greasy moisturizing agent that helps promote collagen production

This tree can be found in Africa, barren land. A nickname was given, “bottle tree” because of the water retention properties it can preserve. Life force and moisturizing is two of the it’s known ability. Research has said that Baobab has the highest antioxidants content compare to any other fruits. Collagen can be form by using both vitamin c and antioxidants that can be found in it. With this, you can achieve a glowing and radiant skin.

Usage: Apply evenly onto the face and gently pat in till absorbed.

Opinion: The cream texture is really thick and creamy. When I first saw I thought it’s going to be like any other brands that will feel sticky and creamy after applying. I was wrong, it’s the first time I ever use a moisturizer that felt smooth after it dried up. It does not take long for it to fully absorbed. The smell is okay, has a fade flower smell. Overall I give it a thumbs up. 👍🏻

To sums up the whole post, I would say this whole set works really well together. If your young and have never use skin care before. This 3 product is all you need and your all good. As for people who owns many skin care products, this would be something interesting to be added into your collection. As I realize I’ve only been using this 3 products for 2 weeks now and my skin looks glowing. I would definitely repurchase it in the future. 💕

The products contains healthy and safe ingredients with ultra nourishing formula to restore your hair back to its original heathy hair.

So how does the name Dr. Schwarz came about. The word Dr refers to professional, safe and reliable which match with their line of product that they are launching. As for Schwarz, it’s a German word which refers to black, voluminous and healthy hair.

Overall I find the product really useful as I usually use it twice a day. Once in the morning and one at night. It does have the scent of an organic smell. That is a good thing in my point of view as it means they did not add any artificial scent to make the serum smells good.

• Rise thoroughly with water

Overall I find this shampoo gives me a nice and refreshing finish after washing my hair. The scent is not bad compared to the serum. I would recommend this product to people who have the same problem as me, that is facing hair loss problem.

Live demo were held to demonstrate the usage of their Diamond Spaindus Soap. During their demo session, they mention their soap can be use as a mask as well. You just have to scrub it and place foam on your face. It’s environment friendly as it does not require any sheet for the mask.

It was proven that many soap that are sold in the market these days are mainly chemicals. A live demo was shown shown and tested right in front of our eyes. Many different soap brands were tested with fire to see if it contains chemicals.

As you can see from the picture above. There are many black burn marks at the right side of the plastics. Those marks means the soap contains chemicals and it melts right through the plastic. As for the left side which isn’t burn and looks transparent is melted Diamond Sapindus Soap. It was proven that it contains all natural ingredients. The melted soap that were on the plastic can still be use after it has cool down.

It was a really impressing result. Before the model apply the mask, her face hydration level was 36. After applying for a solid 10 minutes, her hydration level has increase to 55! It will continue to hydrate more or remain throughout the whole day to keep your face moisturize.

Results

As you can see from the picture, not much different after just 1 piece of mask. In the after picture, if you look carefully the smile line and dark circle seems to reduce by a bit compared to the previous picture. (Sry for the lighting different) It’s mask texture is really different compared to others. It felt really cooling and leaves that refreshing feeling after the mask was removed. I felt like my face instantly moisturized itself.

Eyelash Extension Experience | Beauty

Ever thought of doing eyelash extension? Or you have noticed many influencers with lashes that are on point or look up to other people that had their eyelashes done so well that it makes you want to try it out as well? Yup, that’s ME!

Always thought they look really pretty with those lashes on. So I was thinking, why not I just give it a try. Seems cool and makes your eye looks bigger as well. So here is how my story goes.

Before I did my appointment, I did googled many things, look them up if it’s a good or bad thing, whether there will be any side effects or nah, and a great amount of researching.

The process

It’s best to go without any makeup or eyeshadow near your eye area. If you’re asking if contact lenses are allowed in the process, it is your free will to decide. I wore mine on, it also depends on the person who’s going to apply the eyelash extension on. If you’re nervous because it’s your first time, I suggest you to remove your contact lens as you might feel a sense of insecurity with it on. It takes about an hour and half or two hours for it to be done depending on the lashes you want to have.

What are my thoughts after having my eyelashes done?

There are many benefits and there are some disadvantages as well. It just depends how your perspective is. You might always hear people mention that after doing eyelash extensions, your natural lashes would fall off as well. In my own perspective, after having it done, there wasn’t any drop out of my natural lashes. Everything is at it is. Here are some of my own opinions on the advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages

• I could wake up later and get my daily makeup done within 5-10 minutes. It was shorten as I do not have to draw eyeliner or even curl my lashes hence put on any mascara. After having your lashes done you feel like the moment you wake up, you already have 50% makeup on.
• Going to university is even easier as I usually do not put any makeup on, but now, I’ll just have to pop my lenses in and I’m good to go.
• Your eye would look bigger and brighter.

Disadvantages

• For a person who wear glasses 🤓 like me, will find trouble wearing them as the lashes are too long and it will keep touching the glasses. I’ll have to wear them uncomfortably and wear them lower so that it does not touches it. Most of the time I would have to keep my contact lens on until I’m ready to go to bed.

*only applies to people who wears glasses*

• When you remove makeup, and wash your face, you have to be careful of your lashes as you might rub onto it and it will fall of quicker.
• Putting eyeliner is not really recommended anymore as I tried once, and when I use the remover, quite a number of fake eyelashes fall off. (Recommend not to draw liner if possible, I had no choice because I have to go for a shooting)
• When your lashes starts to slowly fall off after a month, you find your eyelashes looks really irregular and weird, because holes will start popping out from the part that the lashes falls out.

Overall I find it an interesting experience. The only weird part is after you remove or let all your fake lashes fall off, you will feel as if you have no more lashes. You have that feeling that, why are my lashes sooooooo short even though that’s how it’s original length is. It was just due to the fact that you got too used to seeing the extensions length.

I did my lashes at Luminous Beauty Parlour. Stephy was really nice and gentle, I did not feel any pain at all throughout the whole process. I was practically lying down for 2 hours that made my neck ache a little. I would reckon they should get a softer pillow or towel to support the neck.
